A new set of monthly courses over 6 months start again on Wednesday 20th October followed by theThursday, Friday and Saturday.

The course takes place at Bromsgrove Rugby Club on weekdays and at Burcot Village Hall near Bromsgrove on Saturdays.

The Friday class has one place left, but the Wednesday and  Saturday classes are now full,  a couple of spaces are still available on  thursdays – the course is based on your garden, landscape or cityscape starting point and we will be  discovering new Textile Decorating techniques.   We start by dyeing with procion dye and indigo, printing with wooden screens using resists, deconstructed screens, soya wax with thickened dyes.  We are also designing, using your personal inspiration picture,  printing and discharge printing with thermofax screens.  One piece of cloth is going to be enhanced by a dye or print technique every month,  creating a unique piece of textile. Altogether an exciting course.  For those who really need their fix of stitching we will spend the last three months using the fabrics that are coloured and printed to make a wallhanging, bag or quilt.  During the course we will work on the design of this piece and will also be creating gorgeous pages in our sketchbooks.

Cost for the course will be £150 plus £10 for materials. Deposit of £30 secures a place.
