We had a lovely time in Holland visiting my mother and staying with my youngest brother. A busy visit and we managed to get four generations together as my daughter joined us for a couple of days with her youngest son Lucas. We re-visited the chapel where we got married and took some nice memorable pictures.
Since our return chemo kept being postponed and the scan result showed there the tumour had grown a tiny bit, so the Avastin is not as effective as hoped for. We are now switching to the first drug and keeping our fingers crossed . First treatment on the 15th. I will probably loose my hair again, just when it's at it's best. Never mind, I've already looked at wigs! My new hair grew back quite dark and wavy, so the last wig looks quite wrong now.
I've run some open studio days and will wait and see how the next couple of rounds of chemo go before I send out dates to my loyal, regular students.
Both John and I would like to wish you a Happy Christmas and a healthy 2016 and thank you for all your caring thoughtful comments.
