It's been a busy month, we went to Holland to spend some time with my mum, taking her up north to see her family and staying with my brother and his family. Lots of laughter and hugs. So good to see everyone again after such a dreadful time.
Back home for the build upto Christmas and I managed to finish two quilts for my gorgeous grandsons, both similar in style as shown above.
Christmas day itself was lovely and an emotional time for our family.
John did all the shopping and cooking with help of the kids.
Boxing Day I was shattered but by doing nothing I recovered quickly.
We've done some nice wintery walks in the cold sunshine before my last chemo session on the 30th (for the time being).
I've also organised some one-off workshop days in January and am now looking forward to the New Year.
The textile art sketchbooks are on line as well and is proving very popular. I will add the opportunity to buy just one at a time to the workshop page on the website.
Thank you for all your support and wishes they really helped us to keep going.
Wishing you all a very healthy and creative 2015,
