It's been quite a couple of weeks with ups and downs. As you can see I finished William's quilt, but he will have to wait till his early August birthday! It's a bit too hot for quilts anyway. If you have a good look you can see the letters of his name hidden in the design. Next quilt is for grandson number 2, Reyer who will be in a big boys bed soon.
We were hoping to be in France these weeks, but low blood results stopped travel and chemo, so next week we are starting a new drug cycle with a PICC line fitted on Tuesday and going back to the first chemo of Folfiri and added Avastin, which can be quite tough to cope with, starting on Friday. Fingers crossed that the body does not react too badly.
We have postponed our crossing to France till the end of August and are hopeful we can make it.
I'm feeling OK so far and making the most of these days by enjoying the weather, Wimbledon, grandsons, making elderflower cordial and of course creating something pretty. These might become part of a new on line mini course.
I call them pretty pin things and they make lovely little gifts to send out pinned to a card.
As always I really appreciate your encouraging comments, know that you're thinking and praying with me. It's been a year now and we are still fighting and looking forward!
With sunny wishes xx
