Just had time to upload this one picture I took yesterday on the road. Good thing I was driving – and turned.
I give John things to look for now, a load of sheep, a row of nice orange trees – we’ve done the postboxes now, just some deer I think and the odd loo! Driving up the west coast we came across these little beauties. The waves crash upon the shore, but passersby build these rock structures. You have to be quick because you risk being soaked and stoned at the same time. The glaciers were good but were not very photogenic – I think the light was wrong. We’re staying at a place calle Hokitika – resemble a town out of a wild west movie. They produce the finest green things here – and somebody has to buy it for you. Who knows!!
