We left Queenstown quite early this morning – after all the peaceful places we stopped Queenstown seemed very busy. We drove to Te Anau and found a motel as recommended in the Lonely Planet, fab again overlooking the Lake and its got a kitchen too. Awesome scenes are becoming quite common. This afternoon we took a picnic and walked around the lake – I even got round to a bit of colouring.
We decided to book the room for another night, just because its so peaceful. Tomorrow the big trip to Millford Sound, no doubt some more amazing scenery.
