Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all. In between Christmas and New Year after the heavy frost I took this picture of a weather vane in my garden and just loved the way the frost had settled on the spiders web.

This morning there was snow on the ground under heavy skies – very January and inspirational for another journal quilt.

The red kite sculpture in my garden looks equally good covered in snow against these grey skies.

I hope to produce something with these images this week, before getting back into teaching mode later on.

Hi and thanks for visiting my Blog. I began in May I think last year and have found it a great way to keep a diary, notes and to spur me on to complete things as I am so busy with work and children. We visited your area of France last year – it was super – maybe when my commitments slow down I’ll come on a Summer School one day! Keep on Blogging!
